Summary: Robert is delighted when a hippopotamus follows him home from school one day. The next day he is followed by four hippos, then nine, and eventually his yard is crowded with hippos. Robert's desperate father contacts a witch, who gives Robert a pill to make him unattractive to hippos. Sadly for Robert's parents, the hippos vanish, only to replaced by a trail of giraffes.
